1 Year in San Diego
This week it’s one year that Vinh has been in San Diego. And wow, so much has happened. We love having him here. He helps run Tu’s coffee business, goes to school, hits the gym 2 hours a day and still manages to make time to run errands and help us keep everything running. It’s been a great year.
Happy Birthday
I had a great birthday. Everyone called and wrote me and I even got sweet videos and pictures from my nieces and nephews. What a wonderful day it was. Tu took me out for a nice dinner at a posh La Jolla restaurant – Crab Catcher. Then she took me home to this! Lots of presents. All for me!
Vacation Village
When we were kids we got to come to Vacation Village once a year. We invented the “Staycation” long before it was a popular term. Since there were so many kids, we had to go somewhere close so Dad and Mom would pack us all up in the Gold Cadillac and drive us 15 miles all the way to this paradise.
It might as well be Hawaii it is such a beautiful place. Lots of palm trees and bay front rooms that step right on to the sand. We all got our first San Diego sunburns here. The place has not changed a bit.

Dirty Dan
Nothing makes Little Camille giggle more than when her Dad starts putting mud on his face. She just laughs and laughs and laughs.
