Tropical Storm
A tropical warm storm moved through La Jolla this weekend. The rain was warm, there were light winds and it was a welcome reprieve from the hot and humid conditions we have seen for the past two weeks. The storm broke about sunset and it was beautiful.
Danielle and Chris Engagement Pictures
I photographed my friend Danielle and her husband for their engagement. We had fun taking pictures at one of my favorite spots in San Diego – Scripps Pier. It’s a good place for engagement photos. You can check all of the photos out here – Danielle and Chris.
Fire in the Sky San Diego
I call this Fire in the Sky. The clouds made a beautiful flame in the sky. There were wonderful colors all around at WindanSea Beach.
Marine Street Beach La Jolla
Headed down to Marine Street Beach for the usual beautiful sunsets we seem to have these days. I think I have photographed sunsets here more than anyone the last two years as I head down to the beach often before the sun sets for the Golden Hour.
Phone Call from a Weird Window
I call this guy Howard. I don’t know his name. I’m assuming he likes to make his phone calls everyday from this window. He likes to make phone calls from his weird window. It’s the only window in the whole building from what I could tell. When I took this picture he looked down at me like I was weird. I thought he was weird. He thought I was weird. Who was right? We both were.
We could just fly away
Picture of Tu at Guadalupe Sand Dunes. In this marvelous stretch of beach, high winds push sand inland for miles and create mountains of high sand dunes that roll to the water. It is a very strange and beautiful place that not many people go to.
Beautiful Night at Marine Street Beach La Jolla
The water has heated up to 71 degrees. So warm in fact that the Anchovies are swimming in schools of tens of thousands right up to the beach. Like black swarms of fish. These body bathers don’t mind.
