After devouring a slice of pizza with his face only, Little John watches planes

Posted on Jul 27, 2014 in Family

He seemingly devoured the slice of pizza using only his face since about half of the pizza was still left on his chin when I arrived.   I took John over to the lawn to take a picture of him but he could not stop watching the planes as they soared over head.  He kept saying WOWOWOW… and giving some pretty hysterical reactions.

Fire in the Sky San Diego

I call this Fire in the Sky.  The clouds made a beautiful flame in the sky.  There were wonderful colors all around at WindanSea Beach.

Marine Street Beach La Jolla

Headed down to Marine Street Beach for the usual beautiful sunsets we seem to have these days.  I think I have photographed sunsets here more than anyone the last two years as I head down to the beach often before the sun sets for the Golden Hour.

Phone Call from a Weird Window

Posted on Jul 22, 2014 in photography

I call this guy Howard.  I don’t know his name.  I’m assuming he likes to make his phone calls everyday from this window.  He likes to make phone calls from his weird window.  It’s the only window in the whole building from what I could tell.  When I took this picture he looked down at me like I was weird.  I thought he was weird.  He thought I was weird.  Who was right?  We both were.

Slow Pizza

Posted on Jul 19, 2014 in Family

Have you ever ordered pizza from Dominos?  It’s half off until 2am tonight.  Apparently that is a great deal.  However it might take a while to arrive.  It did last night.

The kids came over to have a beach picnic last night and we had a lot of fun.

We could just fly away

Picture of Tu at Guadalupe Sand Dunes.  In this marvelous stretch of beach, high winds push sand inland for miles and create mountains of high sand dunes that roll to the water.  It is a very strange and beautiful place that not many people go to.

We thought he was an angel until we discovered he was a murderer (of chocolate)

Posted on Jul 11, 2014 in Family

Little John, pictured here, looks as innocent as a summers day is long.  One would almost be lead to believe that he was praying for world peace or wishing you the most very pleasant day.

angel

Until that is when we saw this and the brutal truth was revealed.  This young angelic boy was a murderer.  That’s right a murderer of chocolate.  Little John, again pictured here looking extremely guilty, in a post-chocolyptic massacre.  His father tried to stop him but as you can see,  was caught up in the bloody slaughter of chocolate himself.  Keep your chocolate locked up folks.  He’s still out there.
