Tu, Finn and I took a drive, way out East to explore the countryside. It was a nice day and we took some pictures at an old bridge.
He is back again. In all his grandeur and sophistication. A sense of style and the ability to carry it throughout the day like a well worn leather shoe – comfortable, sophisticated yet down to earth like an autumn leaf.
He is not shy. He is bold.
He is not obtuse. He is acute, astute and relentlessly sharp.
He is not a dimwit. He is a sage thinker with sage advice. Maybe you would do well to heed it sometime?
He is not boorish or crapulous. He sense of refinement is beyond that of mortal.
To call him feckless is mundane and predictable. Use more knowledge you insolent monkey!
He will take your ham-handed fashion trend, turn it on its head, shake it thrice, throw it on the floor and put it together again and you will be fabulous.
“Fashion is the essence of life and love”. Bill McKenna
The whole fam was invited to sit and wait and watch the big moment from afar. What was the big event you ask? Kevin was going to ask Kenna to marry him. And he was going to do it a very public place – Balboa Park.
Well, the event when off without a hitch. They walked to a specially designated place, he kneeled down and popped the question – and she said yes. You can see some of the photos here – Kenna is engaged.
What lies behind those eyes? Is he a devil? Or an angel sent down from above?
Took the camera out for a morning walk in Vinh Long Vietnam and caught some nice street scenes in the neighborhood.
Vietnam is vibrant and full of life!
I took a long, long flight to Saigon last week to pick up Tu and Finn who were vacationing with Tu’s family at their home in Vinh Long Vietnam.
One of our favorite activities there is to visit the kids at the Vinh Long Orphanage to see how they are doing.
So many people have helped the kids over the last few years that their home is looking amazing. Fresh coats of paint. Lots of nice clothes. Clean rooms. Air conditioning. Great food. Great school. There are so many amenities. But best of all they receive lots of visitors from around the world each day.
All these kids were visiting the orphanage when we arrived.
Here are some pictures of the absolute cutest kids. If you follow my blog, you will recognize some of these kids who we started visiting when they were just babies. If you want to see the full gallery – check it out here.
