Sheila and Brian are having a baby
Sheila and Brian are two of the happiest people in the world. On June 12th they are expecting a beautiful baby girl – Paige Rose Pozza and life promises to get very busy for them. McCovey and Kobe, their puppies, are busy helping too – planning walks that all 5 of them can take together and also planning how many greeny treats that they will get if they behave nicely.
Brian, Sheila, Kobe and McCovey spent the afternoon in San Diego last week taking pictures in anticipation of the big day. A nice day at La Jolla Beach and the park provided the perfect setting for taking happy pictures together and enjoying the beautiful spring like day. Paige will be born in Cedars Sanai Hospital in West Hollywood – a place where many stars and starlets have been born and it promises to be a joy-filled day. Any many people will be awaiting her. Grandpa Tim, Grandpa Scott and Grandma Anna will undoubtedly be waiting anxiously for while Grandma Rose watches down from heaven. Welcome Paige, everyone cannot wait for you to arrive!

Saturday Morning Pancakes with Mom
My mom loves to cook. Even though she say’s that she does not have a lot of experience in the kitchen that is simply not true. She raised 12 kids and always had time to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for all 12.
This Saturday I had a chance to visit with my mom while she made BabyCakes Saturday Pancakes at her cottage in Coronado. My mom’s kitchen is not only a shrine to BabyCakesNYC – it is actually the birth place of it. My sister Erin spent months in this very kitchen trying out hundreds of recipes for vegan cupcakes. One day she stumbled upon one and the rest of was history – BabyCakes was born.
Watching my mom cook, you realize that the first ingredient in any recipe is love and sharing- that after all is the whole point of baking. Baking is meant for sharing and you can see why BabyCakes are so popular today – because love was their first ingredient.
A Day off with Tu
Tu and I took a day off work to do some fun and very intersting things together. It was a really fun day. We went to some great places, took pictures and really enjoyed a beautiful day together. It’s nice to take a day off work and just relax while everyone else is working. We went back to Del Mar today.. the place we first met and took some pictures from the first place that I ever took pictures of her. It was a very nice day, and as you can see Tu looked really beautiful today. Even more beautiful than the first day that we met.
Spring time walk after work
One of the nicest things about daylight savings time is that after work you have a few hours of sun to enjoy the day. We had some absolutely gorgeous weather again today in San Diego and Tu and I went walking at a little river that we found last Spring. Tu spent the afternoon hunting down crawfish that scrambled in the underwater rocks. She did catch one and gave it a kiss. It’s another beautiful spring day here in San Diego.
je t’amie mon amor
I sent Tu a cute picture that I really liked. It was a picture two fingers kissing in France and the man finger is saying to the woman finger jet’aime mon amar. She remembered a picture that we took a couple of years ago and it was almost the same. I think they are almost identical, what do you think?
Fresh, stylish and forever young at 70
My mom has had 12 kids, raised them, worked 10 hours a day running an insurance agency and lived a very active and busy lifestyle and she keeps getting younger and younger with each passing year. It is fantastic to see the results of a healthy, active and positive lifestyle and what it can do for you. This is my mom – she is 70 and she is still smashing, fresh faced and stylish.
Marisol is having a baby
Marisol is having a baby and she took time on Easter Sunday to pose for pictures. While we were taking pictures the baby started kicking and it made her laugh. Marisol and the whole family is anxiously awaiting the new baby and it will be born into a home full of lots of love.
Happy Easter Everybunny
It was a great down at El Rancho Patricio and Monica. It turns out the Ranch is becoming quite the place to hang out and enjoy life – I find myself heading down there quite a bit for events and parties these days. Patrick and Monica threw a smashing Easter Party at their house and the highlight of the event was the Easter Egg hunt where they hid over 188 eggs filled with candy and money for the kiddy kiddies. The weather was perfect, the food was awesome and everyone had a very good time. Look at this little cutie baby and how much fun she had – at one point she was eating pop rocks and making the funniest faces. Nice Easter all around.
