Cheese and Danish
I am in Holland for the week and took some pictures around the city I am staying in – The Hague. This country loves Milk and Cheese and Bikes.
This guy likes cheese. He is a spy.
Emergency truck on the canals in Delft
Biker going past a church. He is not going to church. He is going to smoke marijuana instead.
Pretty flowers next to the train station
This cheese smelled good. (not)
This was a nunnery. The nuns will serve you coffee.
A little boy rides his bike past pictures of windmills.
Temecula, The Napa of San Diego
We took a drive up to north, north county San Diego to Temecula. It’s a nice little old Western town with lots of old buildings and tons of winery and wine shops. Many call it the Napa of San Diego. Well, not many, but that is the way I call it. I should call their tourism board and promote that for them. It was a fun little day with Tu exploring San Diego.
Handsome Charlie Heads to Cal Poly
Handsome Charlie was in full force at Torrey Pines. Off to college and the best 4 years of his life. Imagine what is in store for Charlie. The world is his oyster. More pics to come when I get back in town.
A Walk in Westminster London
I finished work Friday evening and it was a real pleasant summer evening in London. It was warm for a change and that rarely seems to be the case here. So I just started walking. I think I must have walked 10 miles. I didn’t want to sit in the cab on such a nice night.
The park is a place where all the city people in London go to get away
There is a beautiful lake in the middle of London
Walking back home. A White Taxi
Commuters coming back after a long week of work
The Tower of London with people lounging along the river
This guy walking too
Pictures Around London
In London for some work this week but got a couple of hours to take a long walk along the Thames.
The Thames is a long river that runs along the whole city and they built a walkway so you can literally walk the whole city by the River.
Some of the most iconic sites in London are along the river. The weather was a perfect 70 degrees and sunny which is unusual for London. I think I lucked out because last week was brutally hot here.
Why This Hotel Never Took Off, I’ll Never Know
It’s located in the middle of nowhere off and old dirt road. There are 3 coaches in front, and a few broken windows. We located it today, while driving through the remote hillsides of Jamul not far from the Mexican Border.
Off course I am referring to the beautiful Bamboo Inn which for some reason has a big CLOSED sign hung from one of the broken windows. It’s a real shame this place didn’t take off because it looks like a real gem.
A Trip to Napa Valley
Our good friends, Tim and Brian were getting married in Napa so we headed up for a beautiful weekend in wine country. Napa has risen to the the foremost region for producing wine in the world, even above France and boast some of the finest wines in the world. Well Tu and I don’t really drink wine but there was still plenty to do in this beautiful part of California.
A beautiful and green place to visit.
We visited the beautiful Castello De Amoroso in the middle of Napa. It felt like we were stepping back in time.
We also visited the city of Calistoga and saw many beautiful places and green fields
But Tu also tried the wine. There was lots of wine.
And she liked it.
To much!
