Cate Paints In Beautiful Colors of the Rainbow Every Day
Her name is Cate Kingston. And she paints in extraordinary color that match her personality. Her favorite colors change based on what she is feeling that day. On this particular day however her favorite color was red.
This particular painting that Cate is holding caught my eye because I really loved the blue color and the stars and the moon. And it just happened to be perfect for my next book called Fly Your Spaceship Home. The book is a very simple book that talks about dreaming and how when you dream you can go all over the galaxy exploring space. In the morning you fly your spaceship home so you can eat breakfast with your family.
Cate let me use the painting in the book so I can’t wait for people to see it. Cate is only 6 years old but she has a very artistic eye and she wants to be a painter. That is what she said. I told her, “You already are!” because her work is that good.
Cate works very hard at art and is constantly practicing. I think when you practice, you become better and better and you can see that with Cate’s work which keeps improving everyday and she learns new ways to paint and make magical colors work.
Cate has to take lots of medicines to get better and she pours herself into her artwork when sometimes the medicine makes her tired or feel bad. So art for her is a way to really focus on the positive. Which makes her paintings great because they are from the heart.
The paintings have vibrant colors and lots of imagination. That is why I like them very much.
Cate paints rainbows and likes to mix the colors to make happy paintings for her family. Almost everyone in her family gets a painting from Cate. Everyone gets to enjoy her paintings. Maybe someday the paintings will be worth millions of dollars when she is famous! But no one would sell them because they are too important because they are from Cate.
So stay tuned I am hoping we can show you the final book soon which has just gone to printing!
Tiny and Charlie
Here they are. Two friends. Cousins. And they love to hang out with each other. About 6 months ago we were sitting at BBQ Pit having a beef sandwich and Tiny broke out of the blue and said, “Hey do you guys know that Charlie is coming home soon?” He was already planning his days of hanging out with Charlie over the summer.
Tiny graduated from High School and we celebrated it in rare form yesterday, even getting kicked out from Pizza Nova (which was kind of cool actually)
The Most Ironic Letter in History
A letter arrived on Friday addressed to my Dad at CSS Insurance. He still gets mail but this letter was different. This letter was addressed from one of the self proclaimed richest men in the world – Donald J Trump who seemingly cannot stop bragging about how much money he has. Upon opening the letter, it appeared the The Donald was asking my dad for $1 or $5 or $250. I wonder what happened. Did Donald Trump run out of money?
Surprisingly, the person who he was sending the letter to – my dad – was one of the self proclaimed poorest men in America who would always remark how much money he did not have when asked.
“I don’t got it my man” was a phrase we would often hear. After awhile, you knew that asking for money would always get you this answer.
Don’t get me wrong. My dad was a very generous guy. Just not when you asked. When you didn’t ask, you might get a car like Mary and I did out of the blue one year when we returned home for a holiday. But when you did ask, more often than not you would hear about how poor he was.
Which makes the letter from Donald J Trump to Frank J McKenna the most ironic letter ever sent in history. The man that has billions of dollars asking for money from poor Frank J from Chula Vista with the empty pockets.
I can just hear my dad laughing and telling the Donald, “I ain’t got it my man. I ain’t got it”
Disturbing the Pizza
Irish was taking pictures. Popping Wheelies. Doing SkateBoard tricks. After this picture, the manager of the restaurant came out and demanded he leave the premises. She was like a real bitchy principal that wanted the whole lot of us gone!
Frank on Fraud
Now I am writing two blogs. My photography blog here and my professional fraud related blog here – FrankOnFraud. Check it out if you want to read some cool stuff on fraud and how I think it impacts the world around us.
I am getting 300 to 400 readers a day on my photography blog so I figured I would try to start writing about fraud for work and see if I could get some readers focused on my work related hobby – Fighting Fraud!
