Happy Birthday
I had a great birthday. Everyone called and wrote me and I even got sweet videos and pictures from my nieces and nephews. What a wonderful day it was. Tu took me out for a nice dinner at a posh La Jolla restaurant – Crab Catcher. Then she took me home to this! Lots of presents. All for me!
49 and the 6 Minute Mile Goal
Not quite. My goal was to run a 6 minute mile on my 49th Birthday. I didn’t quite make it. I ran 6 minutes and 2 seconds. But my goal next year is a 5:30 mile at 50 which would fantastic. I am not sure how I will do it as I think I was running as fast as my legs would take me, but its only a few seconds off each lap so we’ll see.
Imperial Beach
Imperial Beach is the southernmost beach in San Diego and I went down there tonight to check out the sunset. There are plenty of beach huts there that line the coast and none of them look very expensive. I would dare say that IB probably boast the most affordable waterfront homes you can find. Its a beautiful little city, just a bit hard to get too.
