Photography Takes an Instant Out of Time

Little Patrick is enrolled in college and his first class is photography.  He brought his camera over to take pictures with me.  He only shoots in film at the moment which I admire. I wish I had the patience.

We went out to take some pictures together and I got a chance to teach him his first and most important lesson.  I asked him if he had film in his camera and he opened it up to look.  There was no film.  And that is the first lesson in photography – make sure you have film in the camera.  So instead I decided to take a picture of him looking like a real photographer.  He will make a great photographer someday with practice.
